Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal data — and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 23 July 2026

1. Who we are

PIMS Calendar (“PIMS”, “we”, “us”) provides a free, embeddable availability calendar for short-term and vacation rental owners. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), PIMS Calendar is the data controller for the data described below.

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@pimscalendar.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Contact form: the name, email address, telephone number (optional), subject and message you submit so we can respond to your enquiry.
  • Cookies & usage data: if you accept cookies, we use analytics (e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the site is used. See “Cookies” below.
  • Spam protection: if enabled, Google reCAPTCHA processes limited technical and interaction data to distinguish humans from bots.
  • Technical logs: our hosting provider automatically records standard server log data (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to and manage your enquiries submitted through the contact form.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website.
  • To prevent spam and abuse.
  • To measure aggregate site usage where you have consented to analytics cookies.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

  • Consent — for sending us a message via the contact form, and for non-essential (analytics) cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate interests — for keeping the website secure, preventing abuse, and maintaining basic technical logs.

5. Cookies

We use a cookie banner to ask for your choice before setting non-essential cookies. Essential cookies needed for the site to function (for example, to remember your language and cookie choice) may be set without consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.

6. Third-party processors

We rely on a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Resend — delivers contact-form emails to our inbox.
  • Google (reCAPTCHA & Analytics) — spam protection and, with consent, usage analytics.
  • Microsoft Clarity — with consent, aggregate usage analytics.
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery.

Each provider processes data under its own terms and applies appropriate safeguards.

7. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Data retention

Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to each provider's standard retention settings.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR (and similar laws) you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request erasure of your data.
  • Restrict or object to processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@pimscalendar.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

10. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.

12. Contact
